"It's fine," Raven apologized as she continued to unpack. "I can get like that as well." Her apology, well, at least to her, seemed a little bit halfhearted. She still felt a little bit uncomfortable around her, but she still maintained conversation, not letting her discomfort show. "Grey was also a favorite back then, but it was mainly used for accents. Just white and black are good too, since they go well with almost everything... I'm sorry, am I rambling?"

"I was never one for fashion but those two sound like they mix well together," Weiss said with a nod. She noticed the way Raven was holding herself and slumped a little while sighing. "The atmosphere is pretty tense, huh?"

Raven nodded to her last question, "I'm still not that into fashion, but my mom is a seamstress, and my stepdad's ex-wife was involved in art, so I know a bit about color coordination." It still remained extremely tense around her, but what was she to expect from being away from her family and familiarity for so long. "Y'know, this is my first time away from my family..." she sighed again as the rest of her suitcase was being emptied.

The atmosphere surrounding Weiss was a bit icy for the moment, and this reflected in her demeanour and the way she currently held herself. Still, it won't be so bad if this the roommate she has. "Not my first time. I'm glad to be away from my family, to be honest. Still, it would be nice if we could go back home every once in a while. Even if it's just during holidays," Weiss said casually as she emptied out her suitcase and then kicked it under bed.

"Same." She put her suitcase under her bed as she sat back down. "I hope the headmaster would allow some time to go back and visit family, but, considering that this is a school teaching us how to be criminals, I don't think that's a good idea."

"I doubt that'd happen," Weiss agreed. "I mean, how can we tell our families we're part of a school for thieves anyway?" she added with a shrug. She then remembered something and poked around in the top drawer of her bedside table. "I know you have levitation magic. Do you have any other kinds?"

Raven chortled a little bit at Weiss's wording, "Well, I mainly use my magic for simple levitation purposes, but I've also done some energy beams that could tear a hole in these walls. If I can recall, I also could create a force field. That's all I know so far. I think I'll discover more about myself when Oogway starts his lessons."

"That is some powerful magic if it can actually do that," Weiss sounded impressed and brought out what she was looking for, placing the red object into her pocket. She closed the drawer with her hip and sat back down. "And your magic takes on the same purple colour you wear, right?"

"Yes it does." Raven nodded and noticed the red object that her roommate put in her pocket. "Keep in mind, some of the things I've stated may not be completely true." She sauntered back to the vanity as she looked at both of them. "Wow... you're pretty tall."

"Tall? I thought I was short," Weiss admitted, looking at their differences in height in the vanity. "If anything, I think you're the taller one," she said, tilting her head at their reflections in the mirror. Weiss was considered the smallest out of her siblings but with her whole family being tall, maybe their short is considered someone else's tall? It's a mystery to Weiss. She observed the confused look Raven gave her at the object she had put in her pocket and bit her lip in thought. "You're wondering about the object?" she decided to ask finally.

"Really?" Raven stepped out of her spiked heels and looked up at Weiss, disproving the fact she was taller than her roommate. "Well, I am, well, was wearing heels.... Oh! And yes, I was wondering what that was..." She didn't ask earlier because she didn't want to sound rude.

"In my family, I'm the shortest of the lot ... but then again, we're all tall, I guess," Weiss blinked, smiling nervously at the smaller girl. She decided to sit back on her bad so they'd at least be on the same eye level. "The object," she started, pulling out the red crystal, "is Dust. It ... It's a special type of ammunition for my sword," she replied and hesitantly showed Raven her sword. She pulled it out from behind her and gestured to the multi-coloured thick gauntlet at the base, near the handle.
