Only Path Left (Ragna's audition)

((I apologize right away if Bunnymund is out of character at any point in this.))

It was should have been a peaceful night. The sound of fighting echoed throughout the air. Ragna Pendragon was fighting for basically his life, his freedom, against the police.

“STAY DOWN!” Ragna shouted to a fallen police.

However, more came at the man. Ragna could only dodge their attacks and threw punches and kicks as quickly as his body would allow him.

Inside, he wasn’t pissed at the ones trying to threw him in jail. After all, they were only doing their job. But what made him mad was the fact he shouldn’t have been in this mess. He didn’t do anything wrong. He knew that, his family knew that...but thanks to some scum, he was here.

It was around the time Ragna started college. He dreamed of opening up a cafe and making a name for himself. In a way, he did make a name for himself. Just not the way he hoped. He was framed for a crime he didn’t do. Even with some calms on his side, the fake proof was heavy against him. With very little choose, Ragna focused his way out of the courtroom and fled. He couldn’t go to jail. Not like for a crime he didn’t do. It wasn’t right.

And here he was. Fighting to stay out of jail once more. He was glad Hummy had escaped. The little kitty would have been badly hurt in this fight, possible even worst.

“Meow…”

Ragna’s eyes widen a little when he heard the mew. He saw a small white furred kitty with pink ears rushing towards the fight. But with her was a huge rabbit like creature.

“Hummy...what the hell, you should be getting away from here!” Ragna shouted.

“Hey now, mate.” The rabbit started. “She’s trying to keep a friend out of trouble. Don’t go scoldin’ her now.”

Some police heard him.

“IT’S BUNNYMUND! GET HIM!”

“Bunnymund?” Ragna whispered.

However, that would be focused on later. Ragna snapped out of his thoughts in time to dodge an attack. Which gained the poor police man a hard punch in the face. Ragna and Bunnymund started to take out the police as they could. All while having their own little kitty cheerleader…

The fight lasted for a while before most of the police were knocked out. Ragna, Bunnymund, and Hummy had found an opening and escaped. Just in time too. No sooner did they fled, the backup had shown. Thankfully, the three had found an escape route and disappeared from the police’s sight.

Ragna was trying to caught his breath. He held Hummy, the little kitty half way asleep from how tired she was.

“Damn that was close.” Ragna mumbled.

He looked towards Bunnymund.

“Um...thanks for saving my ass back there. But I should get going.” Ragna said.

“Now hold on a moment mate.” Bunnymund said, “You look like you could use a place to stay at.”

“I seriously doubt you know one. Hell, it’s not a good idea to be around me. The police may think you’re some type of criminal too.” Ragna said.

“Well, they already do. But that’s not the point right now.” Bunnymund said, “You have some good fighting skills. And clearly, you need a place to stay out. Which, I have just the place.”

Bunnymund pulled out a letter and handed to it Ragna. Ragna opened the letter. His eyes widen with the information on it.

“A school for thieves.” Ragna mumbled.

This couldn’t be true. There was no way Ragna would want to go to a place like that. After all, he was just an innocent man. But...to the police, he wasn’t. And he didn’t really have any place to go. Sure, there was a lot of risk going to this place. However, he didn’t have much of a choice.

Ragna looked at Bunnymund as he give his answer.

“Alright, fine. I’ll go. But I better not regret it.”
