Another long day at work. Arthuria Pendragon, or Saber as she liked to be called, was looking over files of new cases. Some were from basic criminals through a few had to do with a group of thieves led by Once-Ler. The woman let out a small sigh to herself. It seemed like they couldn’t go a month without hearing from the gang. No doubt Ford would try his hardest to capture them again.
‘And most likely will fail once more.’ Saber thought.
While she did respect Ford, it was easy to tell the outcome. Given how many times Once-Ler’s gang slipped away. Still, they were wanted criminals and she was part of the police. Her job was to try to capture them. So she couldn’t really say much against it.
She put the files down and started to walk back to the desk. Some other members were around the room through their focus were on other matters. That didn’t bother Saber. It just meant to could focus on her work more. She sat down at her desk and glanced to a photo she had set up by her computer. It was of herself back when she was a child, a younger girl who looked a lot like her and two young boys. Each of them with blond hair and green eyes. She looked at the boy with spiky hair.
‘Ragna...damn it, where the hell could you be?’ Saber thought.
Ragna...her twin brother. Originally, Ragna was trying to start a small cafe. Largely due to his love of cooking. However, things took a different turn. While Saber gained her dream job, Ragna was framed for a terrible crime and focused on the run. Ever since then, Saber had been trying to prove his innocent. Her ranks helped her be able to gather some clues but not enough to show the truth. Or to led her to the person who was really behind the crime.
“Saber?”
Saber quickly snapped out of her thought. She looked to see a young girl with blue hair and blue eyes. The blond haired woman smiled a bit.
“Oh, good morning Ladybug. I did not see you there.” Saber said.
Saber always had an odd fashion of talking. It was something she had picked up as a kid and stood with her throughout life. Some members found it annoying, some played along, and others just let her be. The girl, nicknamed Ladybug by some folks around the building, smiled.
“Morning. Sorry if I caught you at a bad time. Carmelita was just wondering if you could help out with something.” Ladybug explained.
Like Saber, Carmelita was also an Inspector for Interpol. Saber nodded and stood up.
“Of course. Where would she be at now?” Saber asked.
“I’m heading over there myself. Just follow me.” Ladybug said.
“Alright then. Led the way.” Saber said.
“Right.”
The younger girl started to walk off as Saber followed. The woman give one last glance to the photo. She frowned.
‘Ragna...wherever you are, just stay safe. I promise, I will clear your name…’
