Personality: Tails is very smart for someone his age. He enjoys reading and learning new information any chance he can get. He is a kind hearted and loyal fox who tries to keep a positive outlook in life. However, he is initially timid, unsure of himself at times, and can be a bit shy when meeting new people. Tails doesn’t really care much about the spot light and simple wishes to help people anyway he can.

How they got a letter from Once-ler's Gang: Tails lived much of his life alone, using his knowledge to escape from police and to survive. Due to his two tails, many other children bullied him and would sometimes try to steal the food he had gotten for him and people around them who needed it. Despite this, Tails tried to remind strong, knowing giving up would be the worst thing he could do.
It was going one of his ‘heists’ to get food when Tails ran into Once-Ler. The young fox had used his knowledge of the shopkeeper and some citizens around the area to sneak off without being caught. Once-Ler followed Tails and saw the fox sneak the food into the house of a poor family. Leaving himself only an apple to eat. While Tails was on his way home, he realized he was being followed. He tried to confront Once-Ler, the fox thinking the man was originally from Interpol. He was shown to be wrong though when he was given his letter with Once-Ler saying he knew a place for Tails.
