As the young fourteen year old boy, Hiro Hamada was scrolling through his social media blog, he was seeing many posted about a hacker going through accounts to steal their credit card information. Hiro was smirking as he was put his hands behind his back, unknown to his online friends that he was a computer hacker. "Well, looks like the cops won't find me." He said to himself while drinking his slurpee. He did hear his brother, Tadashi coming into his bedroom and he raised an eyebrow. "What are you doing? Don't you have Robotics Club?" He asked, as he sat down on the bed. "Nope, I told my friend to take over today. I just have business to do today. You know, school business." Hiro said, taking another sip, not telling Tadashi, that he was a computer hacker and if he told him, he would of course, be caught by the cops, for stealing personal information. He knew that a hacker would get him into a lot of trouble with the law, but, all he was going was just stealing money from the rich people's computers by getting into their information and knowing the bank account passwords. He did use the use the money to help raise awareness on websites for charity, such as cancer and finding kids homes.
Hiro did sometimes feel guilty for lying to his brother all the time, but, he knew that there are homeless people out in the world who do need money, and he would honestly consider himself a hero for doing this. "So, that's what you're going to do, homework as usual?" Tadashi asked, while looking at the computer screen. Hiro saw that he was looking at the desktop and he quickly pulled up a word document with a report for his Robotics class. "Yeah, you know. Studying and all that." Hiro relied completely and went back to do his "homework". Tadashi, seeing him work, left his room and went back to the kitchen to help his Aunt Cass with helping her write her poetry. As soon as Hiro saw that Tadashi left the room, he smirked and cracked his knuckles. "Now, where was I?" He thought to himself as he was scrolling through various websites to see on who was going to be next. She did go through a couple until he found a website that did have criminal records, with of course, money.
"Alright, men. Let's see on what you got." He said to himself as he went into his IP programmer and tried to find the IP address of their profiles to see how much money they had. Most of them had plenty of money from billions to millions. "Well, kids could use these to stay alive." He thought to himself, as he hacked into their bank account and "grabbed" some cash, and donated it to the charity website. "Gotcha." He said to himself with a smirk upon his face.
He did feel, somewhat proud of himself that he was at least giving money, but at the same time, guilty that he was doing a criminal act. "Man, why am I doing this? I can't let Tadashi know about what I'm doing." He groaned to himself as he was about to close his desktop. A couple of seconds later, an e-mail came upon his laptop. "What the?" Hiro asked as he was opening the unanimous e-mail. The e-mail said, "I know what you're doing. Meet me at the city park." "Who are you?" Hiro replied to the e-mail with a bit of suspicion. The responder got back to him a couple of seconds later, and he thought it was strange that he was getting replies quickly. Could it be an officer who got hold of his e-mail address? Perhaps this guy was a hacker himself as well. The e-mail responded as, "My name is Flint Lockwood. I am a teacher at a school where I could teach you the best ways into hacking a system. I could see that you are a hacker of some sort? Since I could tell that you've been stealing money from various websites, and for a person like you, that's impressive. Meet me, and we could discuss on what you did." Hiro, reading the e-mail, had no idea on what to say or reply. Who was this guy anyway? Hiro had to ask this, "Flint Lockwood" guy once they meet up.
"Fine, Flint Lockwood, we'll meet up. I just have questions to ask you." Hiro replied and sent out the e-mail. Another ping came up a couple of seconds later, and it said, "Questions are fine by me. See you then!" As soon as Hiro heard that, he put on his hoodie and heads off, until he saw that Aunt Cass and Tadashi rose their eyebrows. "Where are you going?" Tadashi asked. Hiro had to think of something, like him going over to a friend's house to study or going to the library. "Um, I'm heading off to the library. I got a giant research paper to work ok and my computer's not getting me anywhere. So, I'm, you know, but hitting the books." He replied, scratching the back of this neck with a nervous chuckle. "So, I'm going now. I'll be back before dinner." He said, and quickly left the apartment. As soon as he got to the park, he saw that a guy with black spiky hair and had a lab coat of some sort. "Flint Lockwood?" Hiro asked, sitting on the bench next to him. "Yup, that's me, kid. Tell me your name and how you managed to hack into people's accounts in just a couple of days." Hiro looked at the man, raising an eyebrow wanting to know on what was with him yearning to know his ways. "Well, um... my name is Hiro Hamada and to be fair, I do have an IP finder which I installed into my desktop. I use it to find people's passwords, especially the bank accounts, and then, I just simply take the money and donate it on this charity website. Nothing complex, really." As Flint heard that, he nodded and gave him a thumbs up. "Also, how did you know what I was doing?" Hiro asked, raising an eyebrow.
Flint looked at the young boy and gave out a small chuckle. "Well, let's say, I've been a hacker as well, and I, too have an IP address detector on my computer as well. I did see on what you're doing. Also, giving the money to charity? Very heartwarming. I got to say, you're skills are quite impressive." He said, with a small grin and patted Hiro's shoulder. "So, you told me you are a hacker teacher?" What are you, some sort of criminal mastermind?" Hiro asked, and Flint nodded his head. "Well, let's say, I'm a "bad guy" by stealing from the rich, just like how you're doing. I'm not really a criminal, just one of those people who do bad things to be good. Being bad, is "not that terrible, kid." Felling responded, with a slight chuckle. "I mainly just teach youngsters, like yourself on how to hack into people's systems and we either use on what we find to keep or to do something good with it, like donating." The man added, with a small grin. Hiro, raising an eyebrow, had no idea on where the conversation was leading to, but, a teacher teaching students on hacking did sound out of the ordinary for sure. "Ah, I see. So, I assume you are a teacher working for some, I don't know, mastermind?" Hiro asked, with an eyebrow being raised in suspicion. "Well, sort of. My look at the time, I have to go back home and check up on my computer and my darling wife. Nice meeting you, Hiro. I'll be sure to talk to my boss about you. You seem like one of those computer geniuses on who would mater my class for sure. Have a good evening, Hiro."
As soon as the small meeting ended, Hiro headed off home, looking tired. "So, got anything done?" His Aunt Cass asked, noticing the tiredness in her nephew's eyes. The young teen looked at her and nodded. "Yeah, a lot. I'll turn in early, leave the hot wings by my bed." Hiro said, with a small yawn as he headed off to bed. "Poor guy, never saw him turn down his favorite meal. I guess schoolwork's been getting to him." Tadashi commented, as he grabbed a hot wing. Aunt Cass walked upstairs and saw that her nephew was fast asleep. She quickly put the wings on his bed post and quickly stepped out of the room. Hiro, sniffing the sweet, but spicy smell of the wings, walked to tray, and grabbed one. As he was eating, another ping came upon his computer, and he quickly opened the e-mail. It read something like a letter of acceptance. As Hiro was reading, the e-mail, he discovered that there was a school name called, "Leverage", and while reading, it mentioned that it was a school where it could teach "bad guys" do good habits and how to "steal things" in a way where they could use them for good fortune. "So, this school is a thing." Hiro thought to himself as he started to pack for the academy. He hoped that the place would be worth going to since that meeting with Flint was awkward, yet interesting. "Might as well try it." He thought to himself while packing his belongings to head off to the school, hoping that no one would catch him in the process, while of course, turning his criminal habit into a good deed.
