Personality: He is friendly as can be but when you push him to hard he turns into his true form and uses his magic to stop anyone who harms his friends or family. However when he gets into situation when he lacks confidence, he hallucinates and sees his past mistakes when he was Flowey the Flower, and loses his control of magic. How he got a letter from the Once-ler's Gang:
After the events in the underground, Frisk gave up his soul for Asriel to be himself once again. Asriel was using his magic steal not for himself but for monsters and humans who were misjudged or been cruel to. He and Frisk would have conversations with himself with Frisk's soul inside of him. However he still had the nightmares when he was Flowey, how he hurt his family, friends, and even strangers when he was in the Underground. He saw an old turtle that was surrounded by bandits and Asriel used his magic to stop the bandits. The old turtle asked him if he would be interested to join a school for his talents, however Asriel refused and went on his way.
Asriel spotted a Jade Lion, that was swindled out of a poor family which was their only family heirloom, by a corrupted art director. Asriel used his magic to carefully and slowly steal the lion however the art director was waiting for him and his guards were ready to take him on. However it was the same turtle who slowly came towards Asriel and the crowd and asked to let Asriel go. The art director ordered the guards to hold the turtle down but the turtle fought them off with his own magic and Asriel was impressed by this turtle.
How he was able to take the guards down as if they were nothing but children and the turtle used his magic to make sure that the art director was tied up. The two escape from Interpol and Asriel returned the Jade Lion to the family that was lost to them. Asriel asked if the offer to go to the school was still available to him and the turtle said with a small smile as he gave a letter, "Follow these coordinates and we shall me again..."
