“What the hell do you think this is, you filthy bat?!” That, the sound of a cup breaking, and coins scattering across the asphalt broke the peace.
Armin nearly dropped his bags of groceries when he heard the shout that made almost everyone in the parking lot of the market freeze and stare at the scene. A woman was sprawled on the ground, trying to pick up the coins that had been in the, now broken, cup. A man in the mid to late 40’s was standing above her, having knocked the cup out of her hand. Tears ran down the woman’s face. Her clothes were mismatched, and seemed to be the only thing the woman owned. Her hair was greasy and filthy. The man scoffed at her.
“Seriously, why the hell am I obligated to give some leech my hard earned cash?” With that, the man entered the store, his wife and their kids giving the poor woman the most hateful looks they seem to be able to muster up. Once he was sure the family had gone, he ran up to the humiliated woman and helped her pick up the scattered coins.
“I’m sorry you had to see that…” The woman seemed shocked that Armin had even approached her, let alone helped her pick up her money. Armin gave her a light smile “It’s alright.” He glared at the door the man had entered the store through. Turning back to the woman, he reached into his wallet and pulled out a $100 bill and handed it to her. The woman looked at the bill and immediately tried to give it back, but Armin shook his head “Keep it, you need it a lot more than I do.” With that, Armin went back to his car and put his groceries away, pausing to look up when that family returned through the doors again. This time, it was one of the kids that started hassling her, while the parents just stood by, seemingly proud that their child was harassing a woman who could hardly defend herself. It was disgusting, keeping an eye on the woman until the family left, Armin took a picture of the man as he walked by, under the guise of talking on the phone.
Getting in his car and driving off, he smirked. Another target.

Following the modified drone without being caught wasn’t easy, but it was worth the trouble. Holding the remote in his hands, he made sure to stay a block away from the couple he was following. It had been two days since the incident with the homeless woman, and ever since, Armin had been following this guy hot on his heels, digging up what dirt he could. The man was the well known CEO of a large company that manufactured lumber, and was loaded, but he was also cheating on his wife with the woman Armin was seeing him with. Along with that, Armin had learned that the man was also getting extra money in extremely shady, borderline illegal, ways.
By the next morning, Armin would post the proof of infidelity and shady activities to the internet, and this man, given how well known he was, was bound to lose everything.
Serves you right, being wealthy doesn’t mean you have to act like a jackass. Armin thought, sending the drone into the building with the man and his date.
The cold early winter air made him shiver, while he waited for duo to leave the building. A tap on his shoulder made him look behind him in fear that he’d been caught.
When he saw it was a young woman, he calmed down, but hid the remote behind his back “Sorry, can I help you with something, miss…?” He trailed off, not knowing her name.
The woman only smiled “Just call me Winry, and I’d like to know more about that gadget you’re using to spy on that Mr. Moneybags over there.”
