How the teacher joined Once-ler's gang:
It was a very long time ago when Flint joined Once-ler’s gang. He met Once-ler at a fundraiser that was held for the mayor.At the fundraiser,Flint snuck into the mayor’s security office and hacked the security system to help his wife,Mavis(who was just his girlfriend at the time),get easy access to the hidden safe.After his girlfriend successfully stole some money bags from the safe,Flint and Mavis had no escape plan,luckily Once-ler was there to help them escape with a last minute plan.After the heist,Once-ler accompanied Flint and Mavis on a trip to give the stolen money to a homeless shelter.Then,Once-ler asked if Flint and Mavis would be interested in joining his gang.Flint immediately said yes without even thinking about it.
