Personality:

Juri is a noble and just member of Interpol, she’s aloof and intimidating on the outside but underneath it all she is hiding secret pain and despair. She’s deeply regretful for giving her daughter Peri away when she was a baby and is still haunted by her abusive past. Even though she still has to face her demons every day, Juri is strong and presses though, even if she probably should talk about her feelings more often.


Their reason for capturing Once-ler's Gang:

Juri was born into an important family in her community, her parents held their daughters to high standers and as the oldest in her family Juri was to marry the son of a family friend. It was a loveless relation, Juri was in love with her maid, Shiori, but both Juri and her fiancé though were duty bound…or so Juri thought. Juri found her fiancé kissing Shiori, which broke her heart and made her wonder wither or not to go ahead with the wedding until she found out that she was pregnant.

Later she talked to Shiori about what was going on and Shiori confessed that she too loved Juri and the two started an affair behind Juri’s family and fiancé. Juri and Shiori planned to run away before the wedding but Juri’s fiancé found out and killed Shiori right in front of Juri before the lovers could. He locked Juri up in the house and threatened to kill Juri too if she told anyone but Juri went to the police anyways…they later found Shiori’s body under a rose bush.

Juri testified against her fiancé, helping to put him behind bars but because she was young she didn’t feel as though she could take care of child by herself and gave up her daughter to her defense attorney. She still regrets giving up her daughter but has kept an eye on her from afar. Juri wears a locket that holds both a picture of Shiori and Peri to remind her of what she has lost.

After the whole trial blew over, Juri went to the police academy and eventually became a detective. She eventually was offered a job at Interpol and she decided to take it but gets the feeling like something more is going on over there. Still, it’s her duty to bring in anyone who breaks the law…and to keep an eye on Komaeda seeing how she isn’t affected by his strange case of bad luck.
