Personality: Hiccup is brainy and is constantly making inventions. These inventions helped him with various tasks, especially his metal peg leg. It would take a bit at first to get used to new people, however, now he just brushes them aside in search of a thrill ride that Toothless, his pet dragon, used to give him. Hiccup is withdrawn, even though he still creates various things and manages to outwit people he believe he can.

How Hiccup joined Once-ler's gang:
Since becoming chief of Berk, Hiccup grew bored. He missed flying with his friends so, in the dead of night, Hiccup goes. He flies with Toothless in search of anything really. Coming upon an unknown island beyond the fog that surrounded Berk, and the known archipelago, it was bigger than anything they had seen so far. When they touched down, Hiccup decided to go and search alone. It was a big mistake. Gunshots sounded out and Toothless was no more.
Hiccup, now stuck on the island, kept his gear and various instruments on him. He wandered until finding a gigantic town, filled with tall buildings and lots of smog. Coughing it out, Hiccup managed to swipe a seed from a man in striped blue jeans, a white dress shirt, and a dark blue vest and green gloves. The man noticed him and, introducing himself as the Once-ler, didn’t reprimand him. Instead, he decided to hopefully hone Hiccup’s budding skills as a thief and lead him to Leverage Academy.
