How he got a letter from the Once-ler's Gang: For as long as she could remember, Luchia loved to swim. She felt more at easy and like she had more freedom while under water. In her free time, Luchia would go to the beach and try to find rare treasure. Most of them were either donated to charities or to her town’s museum. Luchia did know a bit on Chiaki’s hacking skills but never fully imagine what her cousin truly did.

Luchia met Ariel while the red haired woman was looking for students. Ariel noticed Luchia heading to the beach and followed the girl. She saw Luchia’s driving and swimming skills and the treasure Luchia had found. Thinking Luchia could be a possibility, she continued to follow the girl. Luchia stopped by a donation station to drop off the gold coins and jewel she had found. While leaving, Ariel came up to Luchia. She explained she saw what Luchia had done and knew of a place where the girl could improve her skills to help more people. She handed Luchia a letter and made a comment on Flink looking into a student with the same last name. This caught Luchia’s attention and asked if the person was named ‘Chiaki Nanami’. Upon hearing it was, Luchia quickly agreed. Anything to see her cousin more.
