Personality: Chiaki is a gamer at heart. She knows almost every types of game out there and enjoys many different types. Chiaki can be very calm and quiet. She seems, at first, to be a little unsocial, but eventually opens up once she gets to know a person. Due to her love for learning new things, Chiaki normally ask a lot of questions. She can be unsure of herself, viewing her skills at hacking as not as great as others and is very modest whenever someone mentions good things of her. While playing games, she forgets her surrendering, even bumping into others at times.

How they got their letter from Once-Ler’s gang: Chiaki’s father was once a hacker and taught his daughter everything she knew. As a very young child, she used to her skills to hack into the game. When she got older, Chiaki noticed cruel people who treated people unfair, seeing them more as tools rather than living beings. She took matters into her own hands and started to hack different targets, stealing the corrupted people’s money and donating the money to people who needed it more. It was one of her targets that got her noticed by Flink. They both had targeted the same person, something Flink noticed due to his scanners. He was able to use it to locate Chiaki and send a letter to her. Chiaki was unsure at first but soon heard her cousin Luchia got a similar letter. That was the thing Chiaki needed to make her choice and become a student of the school.
