Personality: Koyuki is a loving girl that is always sweet. She loves magic and helping people. She is a bit shy at times, but loves to make new friends once they break her out of her shell. She loves cute things and japanese magical girls, thinks they are pretty. She loves to play games. She is very very distant when people talk about pasts. She even cries during her sleep.

How they got a letter from Once-ler or one of his members of his gang:

Koyuki and her brother Sataru were always together and both shared magical abilities. One day their mother decided to beat up Koyuki when she discovered that he daughter had magical powers. In the country where she came from, people were very ignorant of magic and thought of it as a bad omen. One night Sataru called the neighbors over to witness their mother's cruelity, which ended with the both of them using magic to stop their mother. The town people were so upset that they called Interpol. The case ended up with Cinch sending out one of her people and the officer being from that town was not very pleased and was hell ridden to get rid of them. He found Sataru alone and Koyuki was just a block away. Sataru was taken away from her and the man murdered her brother. Koyuki never knew exactly what happened only that her brother's corpse lied side a river bank a day later which she decided to move onto.

She decided then to just leave the country. Once she did she was able to use her magic to help people. One night trying to use her magic to steal something for her to eat, Oogway spoted her. Looking at the young girl, he extended an invitation for her to join the academy. He knew she had talent. Koyuki accepted and gave the turtle a hug. Maybe she can have a place to call home.
