Andrea was found by a kindly bear named Baloo who looked after her until her father was able to come back for her. While with Baloo, Andrea grew to love nature and wanted to protect it so she used her smarts to keep the animals safe. When Miguel found her again, Andrea convinced him to build a home in the woods so they could be close to her animal friends and continue to protect them. Eventually, Andrea’s efforts reached Once-ler’s crew and Windry told her father about the school and he enrolled Andrea right away.
