Personality: Kurt has a very loveable and fun personality. He can be very mischievous and that often can lead him to trouble. However, Kurt holds his friends' loyalty and their respect above all else. Despite his friendly personality, Kurt does not like to talk about his past, it is clear that he has a bit of a troubled past and bruises to bear. He often is a bit nervous to get close to anyone afraid that they might hurt him like those in his past have. However, it is easy to overcome this, Kurt is willing to lend a hand to anyone who needs it but is often afraid that people will be scared of him because of his "mutations." He can be easily frustrated if things don't go his way but in the end, he will do his best to protect those who need it, and is always willing to be there if you need him.

How they got a letter from Once-ler's Gang: Kurt was born in Bavaria Germany, around the age of 10, he was abducted by scientists and experimented on. As a result of these strange tests, his skin turned blue, his ears pointed, a tail grew and his hands began to change. Interested in the strange effects that were given to him. More painful tests continued. In a fit of panic, Kurt wanted to go away, away from it all. Instantly, he teleported away from the scientists hold before they could react, the boy ran away as fast as he could. Away from the pain and the nightmares. The world was not easy to face and Kurt found out the hard way when he was captured by a ringmaster of a circus. Kurt was forced to be the "main attraction of the show." During the break of one of the shows, he was approached by a mysterious man. The man didn't seem to be there to make fun of kurt or to mock him. In fact he complimented Kurt's teleportation and suggested he join the group. A group of theieves that helped the world in their own way. The idea of stealing was not something that the boy wanted, he knew right from wrong.
The man just smiled before turning and walking away, but not before throwing Kurt the key to his cage. An invitation if he was interested. They were willing to help him. Help him with the pain and to earn a new family. He would be helping people. The thoughts turned in his head before his blue eyes narrowed, using the key to unlock the chains and the door to his cage.
This was his chance to figure out his own life. Even if it meant stealing. Maybe even he could learn to control his powers.
Note: Kurt has reoccuring nightmares about his time in the labs and the circus.
