Asuna and Hakuri were born sisters to a couple that was a team working against interpol for the saftey of their children. They decided to split up. This split eventually caused Asuna's mother, Kyoko, to eventually join interpol. Asuna watched the change and was really against her mother's ways. She saw how cruel her mother and interpol truly was. Asuna soon decided to every night leave the house to steal for the orphange in her area. Fortainatly she was never caught by her mom.
One night Bismuth discovered that the girl had some mad skills with a sword and showed some promise. She met up with the girl and asked if she could join the Academy. Asuna accepted, finally she had a place to go that she could be free to be herself and do what she believed was right.
