Once-ler: (chuckles as he looks at the reflection of himself on the scotch) He and I we were gonna start 'Leverage' together but...I got stupid and crashed into a ditch. (hugs back) Greed-ler took advantage of the situation and told Ford he could save me for a price...he didn't know that price was memories of me...(frowns) To this day, I still try to find a loop hole to my brother's deals...what I do know he loves to play games...and to him its a game... Bismuth: Again I'm sorry. (sighs) Sounds like something Rose would've done. She'd do anything to protect Steven, Greg, Garnet, me or, hell if we're going that far back, anyone at Cinch's. Once-ler: Speaking of Cinch...(hands a file of photos of Cinch and Greed-ler together) Looks like she made a deal with the devil... |

Bismuth: (stares at the photo and gasps) Things suddenly start making sense. But Cinch has always been kind of a Greed-ler ever since I've known her; she knows a bad deal when she sees one. She's always been the one to read the fine print. Once-ler: (drank the scotch) She has no idea what she's in for...my brother will use her...and rob her blind. (drank more of the scotch) My brother makes sure that he doesn't get swindled and profits himself... |
