“Okay, here’s the plan.” A tomato-haired boy pulled a small tablet out of a tote bag, unlocking it, and put it to his arm. He then took out a stylus from his back pocket, put it to the screen, and opened a few more applications until it reached a picture of a floor plan. On all the sides of him were the rest of his gang, which consisted of two men around twenty-five years of life experiences on his belt and a few of the boy’s friends. “Aurore,” he addressed a girl around his age with a parasol, “you blind and knock out the guards with your parasol. Simon?” A man looking similar to Mark Hamill’s Joker with the assortments of purple and green turned towards the child. “If there’s anyone left, you use your powders, pepper spray, hypnotize if necessary.”
“Yes, Nathaniel.” he responded, and at the signal the young mastermind gave, he and Aurore split up and ran into the darkness towards their destination.
“Kim, be on lookout for police.” An Asian boy left to hide in the shadows. “And you, Hans…” Nathaniel stared at the last man with auburn hair and emerald eyes.
“What is it,little brother?”
“You follow the others inside. You’ve always been the best with stealth.” Hans then left, going the opposite way that his peers went. Nathaniel followed, tightened the strings to his mainly white hoodie and smirked. This time, he was certain that this heist was going to go as planned. But what if it didn’t? That was impossible, for it was done by him and no one else…
A few hours had passed and the heist was a success, as Nathan predicted. After he told the rest of his brother’s gang to split, as if out of nowhere, a tall, lanky man in a fedora and a guitar slowly clapped and approached the redhead. “Bravo…” He then placed an envelope in the redhead’s hands and slipped away into the night.
