The blonde girl had spent most of her time in the academy so far, working hard to make sure that the streets were safe. So far, there had been no criminals in or out of the grounds. The little kids who were trying to protect were so cute, a motherly instinct kicked in looking at all of them. Maybe it was because the spirit that lived within her wanted to make sure no one got hurt. Or because they reminded her of the little sister she had.
The park was quiet, and Yang couldn't help but want to see it lit up and covered in snow. The smells of the crepe stand, were overwhelming that any control that Yang had, was gone, as she paid the man and dug into the delicious pastry.
"Man, this place is so cool. Never thought I would be in Paris." she muttered, her purple eyes darted around the park, taking in everything. The sights, the people. A shimmer of red caught her eye.
Wait. The only person she knew wore that much red was...
"Ruby?!"" she called out.

Ruby was walking around Paris to see what the place was like. The silver eyed girl never imaged being there, let alone it being so close to the academy when she was told of it. A large part of her wishes her older sister was with her and Qrow had come along. With how big Paris was, she wondered if she should have had someone from her class come with her. At last so Ruby could be sure she didn't end up lost by mistake.
Ruby came across the park and was looking around the sight. She smiled a bit to herself. It seemed so peaceful and everyone was just enjoying their day out. The whole area was like something from a movie or a picture from a book to the young girl.
"Paris is even better than I thought it would be." Ruby said to herself.
However, her thoughts were cut off when she heard someone call out her name. The black/red haired girl quickly turned. Ruby smiled widely in joy and relief when she saw the familiar face.
"Yang!" Ruby exclaimed. She started to run over to the blond haired girl.

It was Ruby! Relief filled her along with joy, as she practically dropped her sweetened treat to nearly tackle-hug her little sister. She had so many questions for her sister, well that and her uncle. How had Ruby followed her here to Paris? Was she here to try to bring her back? Yang did feel bad that she hadn't left a note to at least tell her family where she was going.
"I can't believe you are here."

Ruby yelped to herself from the surprise hug but quickly recovered and hugged Yang back. She was just glad to see her older sister again. Along with the fact Yang was sage. Ruby had a lot of questions for Yang but wasn't sure which would be best to ask first. Was Yang a student at the academy too or did she just come to Paris? Why did she left town so suddenly? Ruby wondered how her older sister would react if and when Yang learned the younger girl was a student for a school of thieves.
"I can't believe you're here too. I've been looking almost everywhere for you." Ruby explained.

"Yeah, sorry about that sis." Yang rubbed her neck nervously before rubbing a thumb down her hair in a way to comfort herself. Her purple eyes were still and calculating. She had so many questions for Ruby, including why she was here? "Is Qrow with you?" she asked, orbs darting around trying to spot her ever drunk uncle.
Surely, he wouldn't have been so foolish to let both his nieces out of his sight? "So, care to tell me why you are in Paris?"

"Hey, I'm just glad you're safe." Ruby smiled. She was sure Yang had her reasons to leave the way she did. "Um, no, Qrow isn't with me." she admitted sheepishly. She wasn't sure how to explain how she sneaked off.
Ruby looked a bit nervous when Yang asked why she was at Paris. How should she say out: 'Oh, I'm in a school of thieves now.'? That sounded crazy and if anyone overheard, there was no doubt they would tell the police. "Well, I ran into this woman when I was looking for you in a small town. She told me of this school, people there who could help, and how she may have had heard of you before. So I came here because it's located nearby." Ruby explained.

Yang raised a golden eyebrow. A school. No it couldn't be. "It wouldn't happen to be Leverage Academy would it?" the eldest sister asked, concern and a bit of delight in her voice. If her sister was at the academy it was going to be interesting for everyone. "Cuz if it is I may know the woman you are talking about."

Ruby nodded. She was relief to hear her sister knew of it and, from the sounds of it, was a student like her much to Ruby's delight. She hoped they would be able to go on future heists together. "Yeah, it is. How did you find out about it?" the youngest sister asked, curiously. Yang mentioning she knew the woman made Ruby wonder if she meant the teacher the black/red haired girl met or Rapunzel, Winry, Ariel, or Bismuth. "And you've met Mavis as well?"

Yang gave a tiny sheepish smile. "Well, I am sort of attending it." she said, deciding it was better not to mince words. Not to her sister. "After the incident, I was kind of approached by a turtle, who thought that this power of mine was special. He wanted to train me to help the world in a better way. But one thing led to another and now I am working for the demolition team."
Her purple eyes flashed in pain. "I should have told you and Qrow I just thought that I had caused you a lot more trouble."

Ruby's smile grew bigger when she heard of Yang attending, "Really? That is so cool!" She wasn't sure how to explain to her older sister that she was part of the thief class. At last, while they were out in the middle of the park where other folks could hear them.
Her face started to show concern when she noticed the look in Yang's eyes. Sure, Ruby was worried when Yang ran off but she was sure the blond haired girl had her reasons for doing so. "Hey, all that matters is that you're safe. Plus we're back together now, right?"
