Nathaniel's eyes widened as he put down his sketchbook. Ink blots, huh... He was never really the best chess player; in fact, he hadn't played since he was probably nine or ten. In response to that, he quietly left his desk and moved closer to Once-ler, paying more attention to the Rorschach. "Excuse me, sir, which will we be doing first: the chess or the Rorschach test?"

"In chess there's kinda no choice, but to sacrifice your pieces, correct?",Taran asked as he stood up from his seat."In chess you technically can't win without sacrifice, right? You can't get anywhere if the pieces don't do their part in the plan, even if sacrifices have to be made.I'm not a big chess player, but it seems that every piece has a sacrifice to make.",Taran explained,"Uuh I mean..it's just an opinion heh.",he said nervously as he sat back down in his seat covering his face with his hands.

Tails had the same thought of Taran. The fox imaged everyone had reasons to come to the school and had a certain sacrifice they were making by coming here and would make some in the future. After all, it was a future in thieving. The field of work wasn't an easy one.
"Um, I think you have a good point." Tails whispered a bit shyly to Taran quietly.

Once-ler then said seriously as he slammed his hand down on the table, "You didn't answer my question: Would you sacrifice one of your teammates to Interpol to get what you want?" Once-ler knew if they had answer wrong they would no longer be part of the school and make sure Oogway would erase his or her mind about this school. He hated any thief that had no honor in them let alone a thief who steals from the corrupted for themselves.
Yu stood up and said seriously, "No." He could feel every eye on him but he knew how to stood his ground as looked at Once-ler. He wouldn't risk his teammates let alone his family to get what he wanted. Yu then said with a courage, "I wouldn't sacrifice my teammates to get what I want. I would go down with them."
Once-ler then looked around the room as he asked curiously with a shrug, "Anyone else?"

Nathaniel shook his head violently as he stood on his desk after watching the grey-haired boy respond to Once-ler. "No, sir. I may have done so in the past, but I have learned from that mistake." His mind flashed to when Hans had once left Aurore underneath the rubble of a fallen building; he didn't say anything, but he felt fully responsible. He then sat back down, hoping that his honesty wouldn't get him in trouble.

Hiccup looked at the grey-haired boy when he spoke and shook his head in response to the teacher. "Definitely not. We may be thieves, but some of us want to see our friends pull through as well," Hiccup answered, leaning back in his chair so it was resting on the two back legs. He never was one to lose teammates to anything and he didn't plan on starting now.

Tails had yelped when Once-Ler slammed his hand down and the tone of voice. Sure, the fox didn't want to purposely get any future team members captured. There may be forms of sacrifice in the future but nothing that included others being thrown in jail in his mind. Hearing the speeches from the others helped Tails calmed down a little bit. He was still nervous for many different reasons but he was glad to hear others felt similar.
"I-I wouldn't want anyone to get captured. Rather they be a team member or apart of a different group." Tails answered honestly, trying not to sound nervous, "I wouldn't sacrifice anyone just to take a treasure or money."

Taran flinched at his teacher's loud voice and sat quietly as the rest of the class answered his question. He knew what the right answer was of course,"Of course not sir.",Taran said as he shook his head slowly still looking down at his feet.He felt like a liar since he had almost done something like that to his own siblings once before, but he regreted it.

Hubert shook his head. For him, his teammates were his brothers and Hubert would never let either of them get caught or betray them. They didn't have any family except for each other and there was no one else that they could depend on. As the oldest triplet, it was his job to make sure they were safe. "Well, first of all, my brothers and I would never get caught!" Hubert said confidently before he remembered all the times they had got stuck in detention. "But if we did, I'd be going with them." He said, amending his statement.

Once-ler then grinned and said with happily, "Good. Now that being said let's play some chess and for those who don't know I'll give the ink blot test." Once-ler was great to hear that from his students as he then said, "Also the condition has been lifted so I wanna see how you play against me." Once-ler then grabbed his bottle of scotch and took a swig as he said with a smirk, "Ah nothing but a good bottle of scotch and chess to pass the time. Also first person to beat me gets extra credit for the first quarter test."
Yu took a deep breath and waited until he got his turn in for chess. He had played with Discord before only the pieces came to life when they took each other out plus he loved Discord's magic when he was a baby. Yu needs to make sure to beat Once-ler at chess to get the extra credit otherwise he might fail a test that he might need to pass.

Nathaniel grinned softly, seeing that his teacher's temper had calmed down. After letting out a sigh of relief, he made his way over to Once-ler's desk as he spotted the ighly disorganized piles of printer paper. The whiff of ink swirled around in his nose. "Sir? If you listened to me the first time, I asked: which test are you doing first?"

Kaneki listened to the teacher's instructions. Okay chess peices should be easy enough. He and the kid next to him Arashi started to play the game of chess. Kaneki was black and Arashi white. Kaneki started to think of the peices as members of his team, easy enough. Arashi did the same.

It didn't seem that complicated, but then again, it depended on who he was playing against. Only having read about it, he turned his head to the student asking about ink blots or chess. Getting up with a sigh, he made his way over to the pair and tapped the boy's shoulder. "I think he meant you can choose which one you do. Ink blots for people that don't know chess, or chess for the people that can actually play it."

"I am aware of that, but, obviously, our teacher can't be giving the tests and playing chess at the same time. Unless he had an identical twin or the ability to clone himself to handle all of us students..."
