[Their first meeting]
The blue skinned mutant was nervous. He hadn't really understood what the headmaster had told him about the roommate situation. What was a roommate? He didn't know what it was and he wasn't sure if he could be anymore nervous. Kurt hoped that this mate wouldn't run from the room the moment he saw the blue skinned creature.
Kurt wasn't sure if he could handle that mistreatment again. His pointy tail swished back and forth as he found the door to the room. The mystic turtle had assured him that the other mystics would treat him with kindness. But Kurt wasn't sure if trust was the best idea at the moment. Instead he took a deep breath and opened the door and walked inside the room.
The mutant hoped that his nervousness wasn't showing on his face.

Sun had barely arrived to his new room and heard that he would have to have a room mate.He was excited to finally meet some people who were more like him and less like his little sister. Sun was hanging up some posters of his favorite band on his side of the room when he heard the door open. Sun turned around surprise to see a literally blue boy walking in the room."You must be my new roomie.",Sun said as he walked up to the boy and gave him a small punch on the shoulder.

The sudden punch caused Kurt to be a bit surprised. It wasn't something he was used to at the moment but the boy in front of him seemed friendly. "Guten Tag." Kurt replied with a small smile on his face. "My name vs Kurt. Nice to meet you." Gah. He probably sounded like a real idiot. Already off to a good start.

Sun raised an eyebrow at the boy a bit confused by the way he talked,"Ookay than Kurt.",Sun said,"Guten teg to you too",he said in a mocking tone to try and cheer the obviously nervous boy up."My name ves Sun.",he said with a chuckle. Coming to think of it,She felt like he didn't choose the right approach.It always worked on his little sister, but then again he's not dealing with his sister."I'm just playin' with ya man.",Sun said as he tapped Kurt's shoulder and pointed to the empty side of the room with nothing,but a bed."All yours pal.",Sun said before turning back to his side to finish unpacking.

Kurt blinked, "Sun, I can remember that." he said nodding, as if committing it to memory. "You are German too?" The blue boy tilted his head to the side, Sun was not what the boy had been expecting, considering all things. But he seemed nice. At least he hadn't said anything about his blue skin or ears. That was nice to find.
The blue mutant walked over to his side of the room, it was bare but it wasn't anything new, he had never really had the experience of a room before so having a bed was a new surprise. It was comfy in fact, really comfy.

Sun nodded,"Good. Can't have a too roommate who forget my name am I right?",he asked jokingly."Huh?",Sun asked before realizing what Kurt was talking about,"Oh no I'm not.",he said as he started to scratch his head with his dirty blonde monkey tail."You haven't seen a small yellow brush since you walked in have ya?",Sun asked as he began to look through a small pink flower print suitcase that belonged to his little sister.

Kurt's eyes widened in surprise. The boy had a monkey tail. A tail just like him. It was shocking and a relief, now he wouldn't have to feel so shy about hiding his own tail unless he really needed to. He would hate to have his roommate think he was hiding things from him. "A brush, like for your hair?" he asked, titling his head to the side. "I am sorry, I didn't see it but I can help you look if you vould like?" Kurt said |

"Nah the brush belongs to my sister,",Sun said,"but I accidentally confused it for the brush I used for my tail before coming to the school,so now I gotta find it and clean it out before my sister finds it and gets pissed off.".Sun nodded in relief,"That'd be great,thanks.",he said in response to Kurt's offer.

Kurt nodded, and proceeded to look under his bed, hoping to find it. Not caring anymore if his tail stuck out. It was bound to come out eventually. If he was going to be friends with Sun, he should try to get along with him and help him out. "What is your sister like?" Kurt asked, "Is she a mystic too?"

"My sister can be super annoying and clingy.",Sun said with a smile,"She makes up for it by being funny though."."Her name's Lucy.",Sun added,"She's a frogman.".Oddly enough,Sun was actually glad to talk about his sister with someone else for a change.The only things he could talk about with his sister were girls that he thought were hot or the annoying things that she does and those conversations never ended very well.

Kurt nodded, he had learned that frogmen dealt with under the ocean. He wasn't sure what that had to do with thievery. "She sounds like quite ve woman." he said, the mutant started to wonder what it would have been like to have a sibling. "Does she have a tail like yourself?" His blue head popped out from under the bed.
It almost looked like a monster hiding underneath.

Sun was leaning over his own bed to look at the space between his bed and the wall,"That's one way to put it.",he said as he got up and turned to see Kurt's head popping out from under the bed."Geez",Sun said startled,but laughing,"Good one dude.".As Sun tried to bring himself out of a laugh attack, he answered Kurt's question,"Nah.",he said as he started to twirl his tail around in his hand,"I got stuck with this thing after busting out of jail.".

"You are a criminal then?" Kurt said jokingly as he crawled out of the bed, and dusted himself off before smiling. It was nice to be able to talk like a normal human. "It sounds like you and your sister are quite the pair ja? I hope I can meet her some day." That was the first time he had said something like that.
He was hoping to meet new people. Things were already looking up. "Are you excited to start...uh, what is that we are going to do. Help people?"

Sun nodded,"Yup,kinda my speciality.",he said as he looked at his tail,"Well if I don't fail another transformation spell again that is.",he chuckled.

Trying to figure out what Sun could do as far as a mystic. The monkey tail was one thing but what about his power? "Can I ask, what is your power?" he questioned. "If that is too far out of line I understand." He realized that he hadn't talked about himself yet but to be honest, Kurt wasn't ready. He needed to figure out more about how to discuss his past without feeling that fear again. |
