He wasn't sure what he was doing right now but all he knew was that he needed a drink. Kotetsu was sick of Cinch getting on his case about everything. Not everyone needed to be in tip-top shape, some of them were already fit enough. She wasn't going to lose anything if the kids could take a break once and awhile, and certainly wouldn't worry about hearing about the gang's activities. They were everywhere. Though no one had spoken out right that they were the doing of the Onceler and his gang, Kotetsu wasn't stupid.
"Old bat needs to learn to be less serious all the time." He muttered under his breath. as he took a seat at the bar and signaled the bar keep for a glass and a bottle of the finest drink that he could find.
He had a little time before he had to go home to his empty apartment anyways. He wasn't in any hurry.

The detective glanced around the bar, searching for any sort of suspicious activity around the Midnight Club. There had been rumors from Cinch and Mr. Pines about a potential hideout for the gang. As he glanced around, he noticed a coworker over by himself, so the best thing in mind was to join him. "Hello there, Kotetsu. Any new recruits?"

Kotetsu smiled, thankful that the person who had called him out was not another higher recruit. He couldn't deal with another lecture. "Detective! I am surprised that the chief hasn't buried you in paperwork yet." He said joyfully, before shaking his head. "As for new recruits, the only two are a girl named Chuchu and her brother. They seem to have potential but I guess time will only tell at this point." It was surprising that there were not many rookies at Interpol, all of them had risen up to higher ranks. "What about you, any new leads?"

"And about the paperwork, I was up almost all of last night working on new reports, locating any new gang activities, you know, the case we've been on for the past couple months."

Ah yes, he remembered. The cases of all the missing kids. It made his heart hurt a bit to think that so many kids had gone missing. As a father, he wasn't sure he could take it. "I have heard there are a few that are no younger than twelve years old." At least that's what he heard, thoughts of it came to him that some of these would be simple runaways. "You can't expect that this Onceler' character is behind all of them do you?" He knew a few of what the other Interpol agents thought about it, but Kotetsu himself was not sure what to think of it.

Their minds are still developing and only God knows about their moral compass..." "What will it be for you?" The bartender brought out a notebook and pencil to jot down some orders. "You two're the first male customers I've seen in a while..."

He didn't want to think about it. People could be cruel but the actions of one could overshadow the actions of the many. "Kids are not always given the choice of what they can and can't be." he replied, taking a long sip of the drink. His golden eyes went to the waiter. "I wonder why that is." he said sarcastically. "I am fine with what I got, but if my bud wants anything he can have it."

"The reason that is, sir, is that this is a host club. Our target audience is women who can't really get a date."

That had to be the most ridiculous idea he heard in a long time. " A host club?" he repeated, clearly baffled by the very idea. That sounded like something out of the show that Uraraka used to watch. It was not abnormal for kids to have things like this at high school but in an actual bar. That was not what he was expecting. The ex-fighter just shook his head again, trying to wrap his head around the idea would only make him more frustrated. Instead, the man took another swig of his drink.

"Host clubs are more common than you think they are, monsieur. Mainly they are in Japan, but the owner insists that we have one here for only God knows what reason... I'll be back with your scotch. By the way, you can call me Billy Idol." The redhead smiled and went to the back to get some brandy.

"You have got to be kidding me." Kotetsu rubbed his face with his hands. The idea of having a host club was ridiculous but did the boss really make the names up for the servers. He shook his head, before turning back to the drink. "So, detective, any interesting cases you work on recently?" he asked curious to what was behind all the paperwork that had been on the desk of the man earlier.

"Also, even though Ford or Guren or Cinch might not allow it, I've had a secret project that I've been working on ever since I got hired. Not even Lucy knows about this..." 'Buddy Holly' came back with a shotglass of brandy for the detective and smiled.

"Myself included, I wouldn't want Chief Cinch getting on my case all the time. She tends to get naggy if I don't do things in tip-top shape. Especially the new recruits." The man ran a finger along his glass, making a soft ringing sound. "I just don't want you getting hurt, be careful okay?" He didn't want to worry about losing a friend or two on the field, he knew that they could handle themselves but it was not something he wanted to think about. After losing Uraraka that day, the idea of losing anyone else effected him.

"You've seemed to be pretty stressed lately. Almost as much as I have..." He took a sip of his drink as thoughts of the men in red and the abduction of his daughter on his mind.

Kotetsu felt a bit touched, he had thought that his stress was hidden well but apparently not from Looker. Maybe it was because he was also a father. "I suppose I have been, I am fine teaching the kids how to defend themselves but I feel like some of them shouldn't even be on the field. I don't want them to fall into danger." The little photographer ran into his mind, her job was important but the fact that she could end up getting hurt made him feel worse. "I know that we can't worry about losing lives that some would be proud to learn the truth but I don't want to see it anymore."
