Armin loved getting new books. It was almost like meeting new friends, and nothing was better than opening a new book, not knowing what to expect when you beging to read. Buying a few books on technology, which he already knew much of, but it never hurt to learn more, and a few fiction books, he left the store, thinking about getting a snack at one of the many cafes Paris had to offer. However, right as he opened the door, the door hit someone passing by, causing it to halt and for Armin to walk into the door, dropping his bag of books. Embarrassed, he quickly moved to pick up his stuff and looked up at the person he ran into "I am so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going!"

Eren was walking past the bookstore on his way to a nearby cafe until he got hit by a door."Och.",he said as he rubbed his nose.Eren looked down to see the boy rushing to pick up his books."It's alright man.",Eren said as he got down to help the boy,"I shouldn't be walking so close to bookstore doors in the first place.",he said with a chuckle."What do we have here?",Eren asked teasingly as he took one if the books and flipped through it.

Armin sighed in relief, glad that whoever he bumped into, he was in a forgiving mood and was helping him pick up his books. When he began to flip through one of the books Armin had bought, Armin gave a light smile, it was one of his new technology books "Unless you're a mechanics enthusiast, you probably won't get it." Once Armin placed all his fallen books back into their bag, he held his hand out to take the book back "My name is Armin."

Eren laughed at the boy's response,"You're probably right.",he said as he returned the book,"My dad said that all the time when he tried to get me to work for him as a kid.",he laughed a bit."The name's Eren.",Eren said as he gave Armin a two-finger salute.

Armin took his book back and placed it in his bag "Nice to meet you. So, what brings you around here today?" Armin moved away from the door so neither of them would get his by the door again as someone walked out.

Eren nodded,"To you as well.",he said as Armin took his book back.Eren shrugged,"Just walking around to take a breather.",he said as he moved from the door along with Armin.

Armin began to walk down the street "What's up? Work stress? School stress? Both?" He asked, taking a guess. Eren seemed like a nice guy, from what Armin had seen so far, so it wouldn't hurt for Armin to be nice to him.

Eren chuckled and caught up to Armin as he began to walk down the street."Work stress.",Eren said,"It's been so busy recently.".Eren was shocked yet quite happy that he had someone to talk to.At the rate he was going at work,Eren was almost positive that he wouldn't be able to make friends.

"That's too bad." Armin started thinking of offering some suggestions to relieve stress, depending on the job "I just started going to school, so I completely understand the stress."

"So," Armin continued as they walked ", what did you study if you don't mind me asking?" Armin stopped when they got to a crosswalk, waiting for the light to turn green so they could cross "I'm currently studying machinery." It wasn't a lie, but not the entire truth either.

"Accounting",Eren said as he continued to walk with Armin,"Lame...I know,but it paid the bills in the long run.".Eren looked at Armin with an impressed look on his face,"Machinery eh?",he asked,"Strange,you seem more like the literary type ya bookworm.",he said as he gave Armin a gentle nudge on the arm.Eren knew that the books seemed to be more like kinds to Armin's study, but he just wanted a reason to call him a bookworm.

"Accounting, not bad." Armin complimented "From what I heard, the pay isn't too bad." When Eren mentioned him being a bookworm, he smiled lightly "Well, reading is the best way to learn." Armin lightly nudged Eren back "What, you don't read?"

"Was? Do you not work there anymore?" Armin stopped walking "Did you...lose the job?" Armin hated to say it that way, but there was no nice way to ask if someone lost their job.
