Personality: Kurapika comes off as a very serious and calm indivisual. Not willing to open himself up to others easily. Due to his tramatic past, he refuses to let himself trust anyone with his personal feelings, while he can open up to them, he doesn't allow others to see his pain. His intelligence is high, and due to isolation, he is very level headed and has a good sense of morals. He cares deeply about the well-being of others but will not allow them to get in the way of his goals.
Their reason for capturing Once-ler's Gang: Born on a small island, Kurapika was born into a family of mystic people. While they had no powers persay, many believed that the Kurta family was blessed by an anicent fire spirit who protected the island, allowing their eyes to glow red, as those blessed with a power. The kurta family was blessed with this power and did not wish to be treated differently, they helped the villagers and did their best to keep the shrine of the guardian protected. That was until one night. Angry knocks were heard pounding on the door of his home. His mother, pushed Kurapika as a young boy into a small hidden passageway and told him to stay hidden and not come out. Kurapika heard the cries and screams of his family, but despite his mom tell him not to look, he saw the site that terrified him. A mysterious group of people, killed and tortured his family, Kurapika covered his eyes, afraid of what happened. And then silence. Nothing. Kurpika opened the hall, his family lay dead, but worse than that, their eyes were missing. Stolen. Kurapika screamed in panic and passed out. Years later, Kurpika grew up leaving the island to try to search for answers about the mysterious killer of his family, he rose in rank in Interpol, willing to help people but his goals of finding his family's killer were the main thing on his mind, he hoped Onceler's gang would hold some answers.
