Amethyst is a fun-loving, carefree girl who loves to joke around and pull pranks on others. She can be very impulsive, often just going with the flow then thinking though what she’s doing which also leads her to come off as a bit rude. Though she’s not a hitter, she doesn’t shy away from a fight and can hold her own due to her shape shifting. Amethyst is very observant of others feelings but can be very closed off about her own.

How they got a letter from Once-ler or one of his members of his gang:
Amethyst’s parents got a divorce not long after she was born. Her mom tried her best to raise them afterwards but found herself drunken most of the time so Jasper helped take care of Amethyst, making the sisters very close. One thing that both her mom and Jasper agreed on though was that Amethyst should keep her special talents a secret; Amethyst is a shape shifter and can make herself look like any person or animal she wants.
The city’s had a local gang known as the Vipers who would provide protection to people for a price and if they couldn’t pay or refused they would punish you. When the Vipers called on Amethyst’s mom she refused their help so the Vipers burned down their apartment…Jasper and Amethyst were able to get out but not their mom.
The sisters were put into foster care and separated because no one wanted to take on an older child like Jasper but Jasper wanted to be with Amethyst. Jasper would escape any home they put her in and eventually she was able to find Amethyst who she spirited away in the middle of the night. They lived on the streets, Jasper doing what she could to protect and provide for Amethyst but got into trouble when she ended up stealing from the Vipers. They took Amethyst and threatened to kill her if Jasper didn’t become their personal security guard.
One night, Bunnymund showed up, he wanted to take down the Vipers but Jasper stood in his way. After one very impressive fight, Bunny asked Jasper to help him take down the Vipers and in return he’d help get back Amethyst, to which Jasper agreed to. In the end, Bunny decided to adopt the sisters and train Jasper as his protégé/daughter.
Life with Bunny was good but Jasper still wanted Amethyst to keep her shape shifting powers a secret, which caused a rift to form between the sisters. Amethyst would sneak out so she could use her powers to win in underground wrestling matches until Jasper found out. Her sister was furious and the two of them got in a fight until they heard a noise.
They saw a bunch of guys about to mug some homeless people; Jasper and Amethyst put away their argument and used their skills to stop the muggers from hurting anyone. Word of their actions reached Bunny who was very proud of his girls, he then told them about a school that could help them sharpen their skills and introduced Amethyst to a old friend of his named Oogway, someone who could help her embrace the magic inside her.
